Creating professional looking floorplans has never been easier. MyFloorplanner allows you to create and share interactive floorplans for your room, home or office. A useful tool when you are buying a new home, planning an extension to your house just want to give your living room a make-over.

Although it is limited for free accounts, it can be very handy when you need a floor plan for your game and don’t have any of the other software listed here installed, such as at work or a friend’s computer.

This is a very good Visio clone, with a variety of free templates to download. Good if you’ve been using Visio to make maps and floorplans for your games.

For making faces for your human PCs and NPCs, nothing beats Faces. However, that costs hundreds of dollars. This is a very good substitute using Flash. Use a program like Screen Hunter to save the picture.
