Cryptic Notes Left At Vandalized Bremerton Banks - News Story - KIRO Seattle
Police said the content of the notes were all the same and read as follows:

“Directions: Attach to brick and throw through window”

“Here is your brick back.”

“Recognize it? You should.”

“It is part of the wall that you, as one of the elite upper class, have helped to build between the minority ruling class, and the majority working class throughout history. By flaunting your decadence, you have made yourself a target.”

Vigilante hero? Underground political group? Random act? You decide!

Treepad Lite

Treepad Lite: freeware Personal database, PIM, organizer, notes manager, text editor and search engine.
TreePad Lite (freeware) and TreePad Asia (freeware) are small and powerful personal database programs, only 465 Kb in size. They allow you to store all your notes, emails, texts, hyperlinks, etc. into one or multiple databases. With the look and feel of the familiar Windows explorer, editing, storing, browsing, searching and retrieving your data can not be easier!
TreePad can be run directly from a floppy, if necessary, including data. To find any article you previously created or imported, you can browse the tree, in the same way as you browse directories/folders in the Windows explorer. You can also use the internal search engine to find any piece of information swiftly.

I haven’t found many better ways of storing all the information about a campaign that you’re running. Unfortunately, the free version doesn’t allow you to store images within the tree. But that’s okay, it’s still a huge time saver, allowing you to keep everything organized within its own space, but easily accessible.

Meet Mavis, the super-charged grandmother whose touch BLOWS UP kettles | the Daily Mail
For most of us, making a cup of tea is one of life’s simpler tasks.

For Mavis Price, however, it is fraught with danger - because she can blow up kettles just by touching them.

The 60- year- old grandmother seems to have a freakishly high level of static electricity coursing through her body.

Sounds like she could be a comic book mutant. :)

Montana: Wrong Heller Decision Would Violate Its Compact with the United States

Reason Magazine - Hit & Run > Montana: Wrong Heller Decision Would Violate Its Compact with the United States

This could be a plot for a modern or near future game. What if Montana secedes? What if other states followed suit? I’ve seen it mentioned in several cyberpunk books before, from William Gibson and Greg Bear.

Five things about the Occult Hand

Five things about the Occult Hand | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press
The Order of the Occult Hand never meets, lacks a leader and has but one simple ritual and purpose: to sneak a certain phrase into print. That phrase is: “It was as if an occult hand had …”

Publication of the full phrase, without modification, appearing as a legitimate usage, makes the writer a member of the order.

Just a cute little plot idea. Is this a secret code? Where can you run with it?
